Founding Product Engineer (GenAI) – Fullstack – Healthcare Startup Equity

The Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate Full-stack Engineer to join our founding team. This is one of these rare opportunities to join a company in the very first days and shape its vision, culture and product from the ground up. Your role will be pivotal in developing a web-based service utilizing LLMs to empower patients around the world.

What you bring to the table

As a founding member, you are responsible for all technical decisions and implementations, driving the rapid development of our product while maintaining a focus on quality and security. Your expertise in full-stack engineering, scalable product development and a first familiarity with LLMs, will be critical to our success of the service. Moreover, as a team player, you thrive in collaborative environments and are motivated by the prospect of helping patients worldwide through technology.

What we bring

We are Karen and Marc, a duo with extensive backgrounds in Design and Digital Products. Marc’s experience includes founding “Heartbeat Medical,” a leading provider of Patient Reported Outcome software, serving over 250 hospitals in the DACH region, while Karen has a history of crafting digital solutions as a Design Director at IDEO, one of the world’s leading design and innovation firms.Together, we’ve validated our healthcare service idea through research and prototyping, but we need your technical skills to elevate it further.

Where we stand & where we go

Having laid the groundwork, we are currently working on branding and last user flows and are ready to release a product with the right technical leadership in the coming months. Next steps might be model fine tuning and implementing a RAG system for additional content retrieval and citing of sources. Joining us means contributing to the core vision, culture, and product development of a nascent company. Initially, compensation will be equity-based and very fair, as we embark on this exciting journey together.
